EPW - Bte Lenoir a Paris, multicolor gold verge fusee with enameled portrait to rear, 38mm, 18K or greater multicolor gold original consular OF case, rear with enameled portrait of a young woman, white enamel dial with winding aperture at 1:30, fancy gilt hands, KWKS, verge escapement, gilt mvt with pierced and foliate scrolled two-footed balance bridge, no visible s#. Gross weight of assembled watch 31.1 dwt (48.3 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some fine scratches; dial with short hls at perimeter near 3; excellent hands; case with sizable portion of metal damage and loss below mvt latch position which is apparent when bezel is open but concealed when bezel is closed, main body of case not latching securely closed, case shows little wear, no exterior dents or dings, excellent engraving detail, button latch present but currently `not securing and with puncture to button, portrait with diagonal scratch across woman's face, portrait restored with soft material as surface glaze, grey material evident around base of portrait presumably either to affix or re-secure it; bow pivots freely; good domed glass crystal.
